About National Apprenticeship Week
National Apprenticeship Week is a celebration held annually in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor. DAS helps to lead California’s apprenticeship efforts by providing funding, maintaining apprenticeship standards, ensuring that workers are being trained properly, paid fairly, and working under safe conditions. The division works closely with community-based organizations, labor partners, educational entities and industry leaders to build and sustain high-quality apprenticeship programs across the state.
