DAS Announces $24.7 Million Investment in Apprenticeships During National Apprenticeship Week

In a catalytic move that sets the stage for strengthening California's workforce development, the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and its Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) announced the second-round recipients of $24.7 million Apprenticeship Innovation Funding (AIF). This announcement was made during a National Apprenticeship Week webinar, Funding the Future: Scaling Registered Apprenticeships in California, which showcased the real-world impact of sustainability funding like AIF and its importance in growing high-quality programs.
