- Will The PowerPoint be shared?
Yes
- Have the instructions for CORD been email yet?
The Instructions are on the CWOP webpage and can also send communications out to all roles with instructions.
- Is there a process for approval of data management costs? Such as the use of a CRM?

- Is it possible that contracts can be executed sooner if they are ready?
No, the June 30th date stands
- Our central office needs to review and approve the final agreement prior to execution. Will the timeline allow for our internal process before the agreement start date?
If you need to take longer it will further delay the process, send an email to CWOP@dir.ca.gov with any concerns.
- Can grantees count any work/events conducted prior to the grant start date towards their deliverables?
No, only work done after the contract is executed will count
- Is the dollar amount awarded to us for 12 or 24 months? If it is 12 months, can it be renewed for another 12 months at the same amount?
12 months, yes
- Is the scope of work due on May 6th?
Yes
- Since we are editing deliverables based on the new award amount, should we reduce our numbers? Can we also eliminate categories we initially signed up for?
Only reductions are permitted. No eliminations.
- Will the payment advance automatically be issued to grantees once they have a fully executed contract or do we need to request advances?
No, it will be available to everyone without a request
- Will the payment advance occur every quarter, or just the first quarter?
The payment will only occur in the first quarter.
- Is the amount of funding final, or can we expect reductions?
The amount remains unchanged; double them to reflect the full 24 months.
- How long does it take to receive the funds after an invoice is submitted?
DIR has a 15-day review period.
- Are office hours optional or mandatory?
They are Mandatory.
- I am familiar with CORD, and it currently only provides a running total of engagements but does not provide reports that are more detailed. Will those changes be made?
CORD is a new model, so it has some changes, if you still have questions after the training, please reach out.
- Is there any possibility of funding for the awards being curtailed given the cuts in federal funding?
No.
- When we will be the actual starting date of the program? And how far back can we invoice from?
June 30,2025.
- When does the community outreach and education start?
Nothing starts until grantees have a contract, June 30,2025.
- If an Activator meets and even exceeds their deliverables after the first 12 months, could they move into Activator Plus role?
No.
- By "executed contract," do you mean that we have all the necessary paperwork signed to start the program?
Yes.
- If the agreement is to be executed by June 30th, our internal office needs to sign off. Can we receive the agreement sooner to allow time for signing?
