ECU New Exam Scheduling Procedures
The Labor Commissioner’s Office is implementing new procedures for scheduling exams to be taken on or after June 1, 2026. Please continue to visit our website for updates on the new procedures for scheduling. Electrical Certification Candidate Information Bulletin (CIB) 
Schedule appointment: After you have registered with the Electrician Certification Unit, you may schedule your exam at www.psiexams.com or call 888-818-5831. The "Candidate Information Bulletin," is an additional information guide for testing. You may also download the booklet from PSI's webpage.
Testing: Take the exam on the day you have been scheduled. Be sure to bring proper identification, otherwise you will not be allowed to take the exam.
Proper identification:
Driver's License and/or State-issued Identification card - Name must match U.S. Drivers License or State Identification card on your application form.
