DWC Posts Adjustment to Official Medical Fee Schedule (Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Section)

The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the pathology and clinical laboratory section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system, as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.

The pathology and clinical laboratory fee schedule update order adopts the following Medicare change:

• CY 2019 Q3 Release: Revised for July 2019 (19CLABQ3)

The order adopting the updated OMFS pathology and clinical laboratory fee schedule is effective for services rendered on or after July 1, 2019 and can be found on the DWC website’s OMFS page.
