GENERAL PREVAILING WAGE APPRENTICE RATES

Apprentice Prevailing Wage Rates are paid only to apprentices registered with the State of California, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, for work the registered apprentice performs in his/her specific craft or trade. You may check whether an Apprentice is registered at the Division of Apprenticeship Standards Website (https://www.dir.ca.gov/DAS/appcertpw/AppCertSearch.asp)

BHR - Includes amount withheld for Dues checkoff (3.6% of gross wages) and an amount for Vacation (not factored at OT). The amounts for Vacation are as follows - Period 1: $1.20, Period 2: $1.35, Period 3: $1.50, Period 4: $1.80, Period 5: $1.95, Period 6: $2.25, Period 7: $2.55, Period 8: $2.70.

Health & Welfare - Includes amount for Disability Fund.

Other - Includes amounts for LMCC & IPF (Industry Promotion Fund).

Journeyman Predetermined Increases:

Effective June 1, 2021: $0.25 to Health & Welfare, $0.40 to Pension, $0.03 to Other and $2.35 to be allocated to wages and/or fringes.

Effective June 1, 2022: $0.25 to Health & Welfare, $1.00 to Pension, $0.02 to Other and $2.75 to be allocated to wages and/or fringes.
