Article 116. Handling and Use of Explosives--Blasting Operations
§5296. Safety Fuse Storage.
(a) In cold weather the safety fuse shall be warmed slightly before being uncoiled
in order to avoid breaking or cracking.
(b) Safety fuse and igniter cord shall be stored in a place which is dry, cool,
oil/grease free, and the relative humidity of the air is less than 80 percent.
(c) Safety fuse shall not be hung on nails or other projections that could cause
a sharp bend to be formed in the fuse.
