NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
of the
INDUSTRIAL WELFARE COMMISSION

The Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC) will hold a public meeting on February 25, 2000, in the Auditorium, Room 300, of the San Francisco Department of Public Health Building, located at 101 Grove Street. The meeting will commence at 10:00 a.m.
AGENDA
- Approval of the minutes.
- Closed session – personnel matters
- Public comments and commission discussion regarding the impact upon the following industries and occupations resulting from the enactment of the Eight-Hour-Day Restoration and Workplace Flexibility Act of 1999 (otherwise known as AB 60):
Stable employees in the horseracing industry
Commercial fishing industry
Outside salespersons.
- Any other usual business that may come before the commission.
Commission Procedures
- Written comment will be accepted in advance of the meeting and during the meeting. The suggested procedure is to send one copy of the submission with a heading that identifies it as comment to the commission regarding a specific issue on the agenda. If you wish to present written testimony to the commission at the hearing, please provide a dozen copies.
